Recruits in the North West attend Bruche Training Centre near Warrington. This is my passing-out photo from there - quite a change from the long-haired yob who waltzed into Southmill St Police Headquarters 3 months previously... I enjoyed Bruche enormously, despite the rigorous academic and training schedule, hours spent pressing uniform, ironing shirts & bulling boots - it's wonder we ever found the time to get half-cut in the bar... :-)
